Kenya Water Supply Network Upgrade Project – HDPE Pipeline Butt Welding
Our company provided professional hydraulic butt fusion welding machines and on-site technical support for the Kenya National Water Supply Network Upgrade Project, which covers a total pipeline length of more than 60 kilometers, with pipe diameters ranging from 315mm to 800mm. The project aims to improve clean drinking water access for residents in Nairobi and surrounding counties, requiring stable, leak-free, and long lasting welded joints under high temperature and outdoor construction conditions.
Our hydraulic butt welding machines feature stable pressure output, precise temperature control, and strong resistance to dust and high temperature, perfectly adapting to Kenya’s tropical climate and long hour field construction. The equipment ensures uniform heating and accurate alignment, delivering welds with strength equal to the pipe itself.
Throughout the project, our machines maintained continuous stable operation, with a one time welding pass rate of over 99.5%. All welds successfully passed pressure testing and third party inspection, helping the project complete on schedule while reducing repair work and labor costs.
The reliable performance and quality of our plastic butt welding machines were highly praised by the main contractor and local water authority. This project has become a benchmark case for HDPE pipeline construction in East Africa, further strengthening our brand influence in overseas water conservancy projects.
